The XING home feed is the core experience to learn about new things from your network. It combines design for inspiration, smart algorithms and a lean back scrolling experience to engage users.

DesignOps
I founded the discipline at XING in 2020 and established a small DesignOps team, creating the conditions for designers to do their very best work. We orchestrate the how, so designers can focus on the what.

Career Highlights
I lead three teams and established two new roles at XING. First the DesignOps Team, which increased the organization's design maturity and grew to three people over a year. Second, I established a position as an internal Product Discovery Coach and aided +10 teams in discovering innovative solutions.
As a vital member of the Organizational Transformation Team at New Work, I played a significant role in the successful transformation of the organization and its culture into a consumer-centric corporation.
I led teams and projects in disciplinary, functional, and lateral leadership roles. My leadership style focuses on empowering all members and utilizing a strong coaching mindset to achieve superior outcomes.
How I like to work
The top priority for me is working with an awesome team to create delightful experiences. I'm very well aware that I'm just one piece of the puzzle, and the magic happens when talented people come together and create awesomeness.
My second priority is the product or service I'm designing for. Good user experiences and exceptional products need each other.
A good design process and collaboration are very important to my way of working. I appreciate the iterative approach to product design and focus on impact.
What I do best
I’m a product leader to my heart – my specialities are continuous product discovery practices, a strong design thinking process, experience in building teams and organizations for innovation, backed by an education in business and engineering. But even with many years of experience and a well-established design process, I never stop learning.
Product & UX Strategy: A compelling product vision is the source of motivation, but a smart product & UX strategy is where a good business becomes a successful business.
Leadership: Design is a team sport, and leadership in design is for me when I make everyone in the team a better designer. A good feedback culture is a cornerstone to this objective.
Coaching: Helping product teams navigate the complex field of innovation and discovery is a skill that sets me apart from an ordinary UX designer.
Team player: I always work hard to bring my A-game to the mix. We start together, learn, improve and celebrate success as a team.
